Interdisciplinary research requires structured interdisciplinary training. To meet the requirements of the highly interdisciplinary research projects, doctoral candidates in the RTG will have diverse backgrounds, ranging from mathematics, physics, computer science and engineering to biology, medical sciences and psychology.
The scientific and transferable education measures for qualifying students and doctoral candidates in the RTG will be built upon the well-established and proven structures of the inter-facultative GSNLMU and the Graduate CenterLMU.
The RTG qualifying students and doctoral candidates will be recruited via, and enrolled within the GSNLMU and will benefit from the organisational framework.
